Arrived in a plastic baggie to keep it protected with a double sided sheet explaing the history and how thie purple scapular came into existence. Includes the prayers to say with this scapular.The straps are polyester rest of scapular is wool.The size is bigger than the typical brown scapular as the purple scapular is made to be hung on a wall to keep all occupants in your house safe from fires, dangerous storms, home invasions, and all things intending harm.I decided to buy this scapular and have it blessed so I can hang it up at my prayer altar/corner after hearing and seeing the houses in the crazy fires in California being completely demolished but the houses with this blessed scapular were completely untouched, even though the neighborhood houses without this scapular were all destroyed.God Bless all the people impacted.
