I recently bought a renewed laptop from Amazon, a Dell 7490 14 inch screen, i7 8650U quad core, 32GB of RAM, Win 10 Pro, and because it's an 8th gen CPU it will upgrade to WIn 11, but you can get it cheaper if it has Win 10 on it which it did, but it only came with a 512GB NVMe drive, so I bought this drive, put it in my Sabrent External enclosure and used their free version of Acronis True Image to clone that 512GB drive, Acronis makes all the adjustments for you, and to use their Free version all you have to do is have a Sabrent dock, enclosure attached to it, it was a piece of cake cloning to this larger drive, I did have to get into the UEFI and point the EFI partition to the efi.sys and name it Windows Boot Manager. This drive is running great, and I will be buying more of this model, the Pro with the Graphene heat sink.

Replaced the 256GB sata drive on my Dell 5285 travel laptop with this drive. it is so much faster than the original and now i'm not running out of space! I like that this drive has cache withouty using my system ram. One of my selection criteria was undurance. This drive was rated highly for endurance (write cycles).

Lo compre porque mi anterior m.2 se dañó, no conocía esta marca así que mire videos y leí, al final me convencí de comprarlo, ya llevo meses de uso y rinden bien, enciende súper rápido la pc y sus velocidades de lectura y escritura son buenas.

I was drawn to this Timetec NVMe SSD due to its Phison E27T controller, 3D NAND TLC flash memory, and included heatsink. The price point was attractive, and the sequential read/write speeds met the advertised expectations.Performance:Sequential Speeds: These are consistent with what was promised, making it efficient for transferring large files.Random 4K Q32T1 Write: Here, the drive falls into the lower performance tier for NVMe SSDs. Ideally, for a primary drive, I'd look for a Random 4K Q32T1 write speed of at least 1000MB/s, if not 2000MB/s, for optimal system responsiveness.Usage Suitability:Primary Drive: Given its random write performance, it's not my top choice for this role if you're after peak system performance.Secondary Storage: However, as a secondary drive, this Timetec NVMe offers solid value at a good price, particularly for storing less frequently accessed data or as a game library.In summary, while this NVMe SSD doesn't excel in random write performance, it's a cost-effective solution for additional storage or for tasks that don't heavily rely on small, random writes.(I can confirm this product functions in an Asus TUF A16 laptop)
