Sketching from the Imagination: Anime & Manga

Es workbook y no un artbook, esto es debido al tipo de trabajos que se muestran, ya que es un libro de diversos artistas que hablan sobre como mejoraron, que les gusta, como lograron sus objetivls y todo lo que conlleva desarrollar un estilo propio, en si ayuda mucho debido a los consejos que dan los artistas, y debido al arte que termina complementando su descripcion.Tengan esto encuenta son 11 libros de este tipo, cada uno con diferentes tematicas, todos comparten el mismo nombre, lo que cambia es la tematica(ejemplo sketching fron the imagination .....) desde anime, monstruos, seres oscuros, etc.

Great book with excellent illustration, pointers, and information to inspire and create.

The book is nice, on par with the others of the same collection, but there are very few Asian/Japanese artists which is weird considering that it's a book on manga and anime art (and there are literally hundreds of amazing artists that could have been featured...). A little disappointing in the end but I'll keep it since the general quality of the artists is fairly good.

The book compiles the work of several "Manga" and/or "Anime" artists and their different aproach and advices to sketching and drawing in general. Althrough the book is marketed and Manga/Anime, a handful of these could fit into the semi-realism category in my opinion. I'm into this kind of art so i'm not complaining :) !This book is to use as inspiration of different takes on anime art rather than a big tutorial. It's worth it if you're interested in Anime art, I recommend !

Il libro è molto bello e le immagini presenti sono molto belle, ma il soggetto è sempre e solo la figura femminile. Mi immaginavo uno sbilanciamento verso di essa, ma non al punto che i soggetti maschili li conti sulle dita di una mano. Peccato.
