I have SRAM brakes which usually have a screw-in barb, but I got some new hoses that have push in barbs. These blocks held the brake hose tight so I could tap in the barb fairly easilly

Um meine neuen Bremsleitungen montieren zu können, war auch das Kürzen dieser notwendig.Das Werkzeug von Shimano besteht im Grunde aus zwei Backen. Die Backen legt man um die Bremsleitung und fixiert diese z. B. mit einer Wasserpumpenzange. Danach kann man den Insert-PIN vorsichtig in die Bremsleitung einschlagen ohne dabei die Bremsleitung zu zerdrücken.

Didn't receive these with a brake set I ordered so ordered them separately and they have been great for working with any hose/external cable housing combined with a set of locking pliers.
