Ordered these to use with Christmas display to stake down outside lights and display pieces. These work great, however after a month or so of being out in the elements the top plastic pieces become brittle and break when trying to pull them up out of the ground. If the seller or manufacturer could find a way to avoid this or strengthen the top piece, these would be 5 Stars.

I bought these to go winter camping and to use in frozen ground, so we will see how they hold up. They are not as thick as the 10inch spikes. They are still very sturdy and the tip has a nice point to penetrate the ground. Great price compared to buying them at a local big box store. For winter camping I am bringing a crowbar to be able to pry them out of the ground. I would buy these again for other seasonal camping trips. For winter I’ll stick with the 10inch larger thicker spikes.

A bit more money than I wanted to spend, but I hope they will last forever. I used these in the winter to hold down my frost cloth, over my pansies and palm. I bought two sets and they all stored together in one bag. I hope to use them in the summer and Christmas for lighting projects. I like that they are easy to pull up with my little old lady fingers. This allows me to push them all the way down, yet I can still find them.
