Setup was smoother than I expected, and the switch response is instant — it genuinely feels like a smart home upgrade, not just a gimmick.Dropping one star only because it gives off a faint high-frequency hum. Not super noticeable, but if you’ve got sensitive ears or a quiet room, you’ll catch it. Still, this is a “switch” in the right direction for smart living — easy, clean, and very cool. Would like to check if other similar switches have similar issue…

Ich nutze den Schalter um die Lampen auf dem Dachboden zu schalten und habe den Schalter dafür an die Dachbodenluke geklebt. Funktioniert einwandfrei und auch durch die Decke hinweg.Eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

I used some of these for lights in some storage rooms. The sealed damp-proof lights lights were already installed with conduit so modifying this would have been a chore. I installed the receiver/switch part inside the light housing which was the work of barely a couple of minutes.The receiver/switch part is not that big so easy to hide in an industrial-type light fitting, but you won't fit it in an existing light-switch back box.If you are fitting these in a more domestic setting they could well save you an expensive and disruptive amount of plaster-hacking and redecorating.The hardest part was drilling a couple of holes to mount the remote switch part- if that was the worst part we are on a winner!Worth Knowing:Each receiver can be paired with one or more switches but there are enough different codes to ensure no problem with at least 4 of them interacting when close together.I found you can pair them with other brands so good chance they would work in a mix-and-match environment.The remote control part is much the same size and broadly the same style as a conventional wall switch so will fit in a domestic environment. (It is however a bright blueish-white rather than a more creamy white).The switches alternate on-off-on with each click so you can't tell from the wall switch whether the circuit is live from the wall switch. (But then you should be able to tell if the lights are on or not!)The control part has no mains connection...obviously... so is perfectly safe to put in a damp environment but I can't say if it would stand up to being outside.The screwed connections were big enough and robust enough to cope with most wire sizes- frustratingly not true of some similar bits of kit.It appears to default to 'off' in the event of a mains interruption.All told, I thought them a bit of a winner, I'm a bit conservative about wiring standards but the ease of use and utility of these rather overcome any reservations.

Un petit truc qui clochait ? j'irai voir sur You TubeProcessus à clarifier peut être ? en Français !Maintenant çà fonctionne impeccable ! Interrupteur équivalent à une télécommande et fonctionnant de très loin ! Épatant ce nouveau système !
