These shoes are constructed from materials made of plastic, which in itself is not a problem. Many high-quality shoes are also created with man-made materials. The price-point of these ones though should set the level of expectation. These shoes are made from budget materials, which is obvious when you examine them. These shoes have very flexible uppers and are very comfortable to wear for short times. The soles look like they will wear quickly. The upshot is, they are fine for undemanding conditions. Do not use them for long hikes or on very rough surfaces, the shoes are simply not robust enough for that. However, they are great for walks of modest length and on good surfaces. We use them when walking the dogs, including around fields and on pavements. For such walks, we would rather save our best walking shoes and use less expensive ones such as these.

Although I am normally not a fan of trainers as they normally don't have wide fittings, I do like these ones. As wide fittings are not normally available I need to go up one size but then they are usually a little too long thus being a little loose around the heel. For a pair of trainers these are a perfect fit for me and in my correct size so that does impress me. The materials used are relatively soft and comfortable. A good advantage is that unlike leather shoes these donm't need any painful wearing in with large blisters on the back of the heels. These trainers are good enough to wear comfortably straight from the box.Being of dark colours, black and dark grey the shoes can be worn with casual trousers such as denims or darker coloured chinos etc. so they are good for everyday casual wear or even for holidays when one needs comfortable footwear due to the long treks one takes whilst siteseeing. The trainers that I received are a size 8 and are correct in their sizing, which helps with the comfort.Overall this is a good quality product that delivers good value so I can recommend these trainers and especially due to the correct sizing and the comfort when wearing them.

The Jack Walker Men's Walking Trainers arrive nicely packaged and presented. When I got these shoes out of the box they were considerably lighter than all my other walking hiking boots. So that may be a good thing, or a bad thing to some people. The quality of the trainers are sufficient, but they do not feel robust enough to live up to many years of rough terrain and all hiking conditions. That's not to say that they aren't capable of doing this activity for a short while, I just don't think these trainers will last as long as other hiking and walking boots of this kind. The Soul of the boot is made of softer material, and the outer material isn't as reinforced as others.I also found the comfort of these boots differed from each side, my left side boot was really comfortable, but my right foot wasn't as comfortable as my left.On my right foot, the inside of the rubber ramped up a lot quicker under my big toe, so it felt like I was walking on something hard, which was quite uncomfortable compared to my left.I went for a walk in these trainers around the block, and I couldn't take it any longer the right side was just too uncomfortable.I tried to move the inner sole further back near the heal, but this had no effect, so my right shoe was made different to the left, and there was no correcting this in terms of comfort because it was the way the shoe was made.So maybe I got a defective shoe, and it wasn't made properly in the factory. It's such a shame, because the left side was really comfy, but I can't wear these shoes because the right side is so uncomfortable. So it's hard to fully recommend these hiking boots. ⭐⭐⭐

The “Men's Walking Trainers” from “Jack Walker” are a pair of comfortable trainers that are ideal for wearing whilst out walking, or just around the place – due to their attention to comfort.Even though the trainers are “walking trainers”, and as such are focussed principally on comfort, they also look relatively stylish too (well, in my opinion they look pretty good). They also provide a reasonable grip on most surfaces and an excellent comfortable cushioned base. The trainers feel incredibly comfy to wear and are much more lightweight than you’d probably expect with so much padding on the sole etc. The insides are cushioned and very soft on the sides, top and bottom of your feet and ankle areas. There’s also plenty of room in them for broad feet (like mine), so there should be zero rubbing or cramped discomfort. The trainers also allow your feet to breathe well, rather than being too constrictive. At no point have I found the trainers felt too hot or clammy on, and instead just felt they were extremely comfortable and reasonably warm. All in all, I’ve been really quite impressed with the trainers since I’ve had them. They’ve exceeded my expectations as far as comfort is concerned, mostly due to the incredibly reasonable price tag attached to them! Sizing is also spot on (well, it was for me at least it was with a UK Size 9). Recommended.

The shoes are light like really light it’s like I’m wearing nothing, the shoes feel incredibly cheaply made like the ones you’d find at a market stall or something maybe that’s because the materials needed to make the shoes so “lightweight” whether that’s good or bad is down to the individual buying the shoes but for me it’s bad they feel cheap for the cost. Aside from that the shoes to fit me well and they are comfortable and do look nice.
