Nul, n'a absolument pas teinté mon plaid. En fait à part colorer l'eau de la machine à laver ça ne fait pas grand-chose. À la fin du cycle il n'y avait absolument aucune couleur plus vive, c'est ressorti exactement comme c'est rentré.

After few washes the colour fades,you have to add while dying washing up liquid,salt and vinegar and that’s obviously an extra cost.

I have not always had a lot of luck when trying to dye things in the past but this was actually very easy and very successful. I re-dyed three blue items that were showing their age, mainly red coming through the blue because of UV exposure. This got rid of that for the most part and made the rest of the garment look deeper, richer and newer (with that element of French Blue showing through as I had hoped). The only thing I would do differently next time is buy two of them rather than one. That would probably have produced a truly perfect result. (Incidentally, I did this with near boiling water from a kettle - it doesn't stay at boiling point for long - in a stainless steel sink. There was no problem with washing it away afterwards, but don't wear anything white or be very careful about splashes.)
