Got my sleepy, unhappy kids out of bed, moved to the main floor and kept the doors open, called 911. Yep, when they checked, it was a bad detector - what I would have given to have had this little unit then.This is a cool little device, and, after charging it, I lit a chunk of the shipping box on fire, extinguished it, and held it near the smoke. The alarm immediately went off, and showed climbing levels of CO. I can’t speak to accuracy, but it did detect CO, which is all I need. *RECOMMENDED*

I bought this Carbon Monoxide detector because I have several diesel heaters that sometimes smell when starting up and shutting down. Great tittle bit of essential equipment that can potentially save your life.

The device wouldn't turn on! I thought maybe because it was dead, plugged it in and nothing. Not a indicator light or nothing,even after an hour on the charger.
