The picture of the bow-tie makes it look a lot better than it actually looks. As a result, I returned it.

I was looking for a nice tie that wouldn't be dragging in paint, ink, glue, ceramics, etc. every time I bent over while teaching art. A bow tie was the obvious solution. This is a nice tie that is easy to wear and should provide years of use when a tie is necessary at my job.
