This is the first time I have seen white gaffer tape anywhere and did not know they even made it. I have found a few little jobs that its perfect for. The white pvc sheeting under my open porch had a small gap at one edge that used to annoy me. I used the gaffer tape to cover it and it doesnt show any more , its now just a clean plain white line that no longer sticks out like a sore thumb. There was a small damaged chip in the corner of the living room on the white wood laminate floor , I used the gaffer tape to cover this to prevent more damage and hide the eyesore. Its stayed put and withstood being hooverd over , if it gets a bit curly or mucky over time I will just take it up and put another small bit in its place. A much easier solution than having the boards up to put another one down.The tape doesnt feel super tacky and is easy to lift and move if you have placed it wrong but after giving it a good press stays firmly in place. I cut the bits I used with scissors for a neat edge but you could rip it with your hands if needed. Im sure there will be lots of other little bits and pieces this will come in handy for but for now am just happy that the porch looks so much better.

Ein nettes Standard Gaffer Tape. In Deutschland auch als Gewebeklebeband bekannt. Hier in einer matten Version, das ist typisch für Original Gaffa Tape aus dem Veranstaltungsbereich, es soll nicht reflektieren.Meine Kritikpunkte sind allerdings, dass es sehr dünn ist und nicht wirklich gut haftet. Es ziehen sich auch immer wieder Fäden beim Abreißen, was ich von wirklich hochwertigen Gaffer Tapes nicht gewohnt bin.Sehr schwierig ist die sehr klebrige Schnittkante. Das kenne ich auch nicht von hochwertigen Tapes. Es war doppelt verpackt in Plastik, schwer auszupacken, da es mit der Verpackung bereits verklebt war. Ich hab das Gefühl, ich hab hier eine überlagerte Ware, die zweifach eingepackt wurde. Daher leider wirklich nicht die Bestnote, der Preis ist nämlich wirklich Premium. Da hatte ich mehr erwartet.

I had run out of black gaffer's tape and only had a roll of white, so I ordered this roll of black. Sometimes the color black fits the need better on stage. I tested a strip of it, and it has a nice adhesive. I was able to remove and reuse the tape on a metal and a plastic surface 10 times over a few days as a test. It didn't leave any adhesive on the surfaces, yet it was still sticky. So, if you're looking to be frugal and have a situation where the tape has to be removed and reapplied each session, this tape could work. Otherwise, it's a decent tape and it will go in my tool bag for use at gigs. A tape like this is so much better than duct tape, which always seems to leave a sticky residue if left in place too long.

As others have said, this tape came looking like it had been in storage for a while in a warm environment. The plastic wrapping was hard to remove because it had "melted" to the tape itself. The cardboard roll that the tape is on was deformed.Other than that, the tape itself is great and works like it should. Comes off the roll without any issues and holds together fine.

this is a non reflective tape.Its easy to tear in either direction.The black surface is mat and wovenWhen you tear it, there is a white edge, not thick and gummy and sometimes with a strand of white thread stuff in it.This will work well for lightl adherence where for example mock ups are photographed and the tape needs to be unnoticeable but you make have to remove a few white edge bits in your final photos, this is because the gummed surface is white. When using the white version (untested by me), I assume the edge may be less noticeable.It sticks quite well to itself but it is not a very strong grip so while it will stick to wood, metal, plastic etc, it can be got off by pealing the edge up . It stays put if you leave it alone. Can be repositioned.The gummed side adheres best to itself.Reamins sticks after its got wet.Good waterproofing, water doesnt seep under or through.You wouldnt use this to waterproof a pool or anything that heavy duty but it would be fine to stick over a hole in something to keep rain out short term.Perfect for mending book covers and the like as it is not massively thick and bulky.
