Musiclily Ultra 13 Fori Alluminio Anodizzato P-Bass Battipenna Pickguard per American Fender Standard Precision Bass 4 Corde, Nero

Got this pick guard mounted on an Squier affinity P bass body. Needed a bit of trimming with a file around the neck pocket, but it was very minor. My only gripe is that it could have had a protective film on the front surface so it is protected during installation/ modification. It is otherwise a nice thickness and decent machining quality.

Good quality and nicely finished. The holes lined up perfectly on my Fender Select Precision Bass. I went with this to give it more of a vintage vibe—and it definitely delivers. The brushed aluminum look is a nice subtle nod to the original 1957 Precision, which also featured a metal pickguard. It brings a bit of that classic mojo without going full reissue.

Aus anderen Rezensionen wusste ich, dass die Bohrungen für die Potis und die Klinkenbuchse zu klein sind. Das war kein Problem, ist ja schnell aufs richtige Maß aufgebohrt. Die 13 Schraublöcher passen auf einem Fender American Professional Precision Bass einwandfrei. Den Ausschnitt der Halstasche musste ich mit der Feile nacharbeiten - unschön: beim Ansetzen zerkratzt die scharfe Kante den Hals an der Seite. Die Aussparungen für die Pickups habe ich auch etwas nachgefeilt, das muss man aber nicht unbedingt.Fazit: man muss etwas Arbeit rein stecken, aber für den Preis ist das schon ok, zumal ziemlich alternativlos. Das originale Fender 10-Loch Pendant klapperte auf dem AmPro nur so vor sich hin und ich wollte keine weiteren Löscher in den Bass bohren.
