Excellent. Bought to replace Squirrel Proof feeder which was still being emptied by an invasion of parakeets. Works fine - now have to find a way of stopping them clearing out the seed feeders before smaller birds get a look in!

Articolo molto robusto e grazie alla base di metallo impedisce che i piccioni riescano ad appenersi e rubare il cibo destinato agli uccellini di piccola taglia. Oltre ai piccioni c'era un grosso pappagallo che aveva distrutto la mangiatoia che avevo in precedenza, adesso sia pappagallo che piccioni dopo vani tentativi hanno abbandonato il terrazzo.Ottimo articolo, lo consiglio a chi ha il mio stesso problema

We've got some very tenacious squirrels in our garden, so finding a truly squirrel proof bird feeder is a challenge.This one is built like a tank and has worked really well!The squirrel has been trying for a few weeks but hasn't managed to break into the peanuts within.One thing different to other feeders of this type is that the whole top section of the cage opens up on a hinge, meaning there's no light spring clip which a squirrel could open.Be aware that it's not the lightest of feeders, so you need a sturdy hook to hang it from.Yes it's a bit more expensive than some, but it's well worth it.I hope you find my review helpful.

This is an extremely sturdy peanut feeder and certainly deters the rooks, crows and jackdaws which were the main reason I bought it. However, the woodpecker has real difficulty accessing the peanuts as the mesh is apparently too small for its beak. This is a shame as she is feeding her little one at the moment….
