It's an F hardness. I notice there is like a grit or granularity to the lead. You can be drawing along, and then with one kind of curve, it will start scratching into the paper like a piece of clay. I will be going with other brands in the future.

Lead grades can differ, and I found the Koh-i-noor F grade to behave like a Staedtler 2H or 3H.

Lead was exceptional in quality. Creates the lines that I want in the tone that I need that is a well balance between H and B
