I found this easy to do on myself,Its good value for money, i do wish the jewellery was of higher grade but they will do for 8 weeks.

This kit came with a set of two ear piercing "guns" preloaded with 4 prong set CZ piercing studs and individually packaged, a felt tip pen to mark the ear, and three individual twist close studs of different sizes for use once the piercings have healed.I marked my daughter's earlobes for her 2nd piercings, lined up the point of the stud with the dot, a quick smooth squeeze of the apparatus and she had new holes and studs. No pain, no bleeding, and she was very happy. I have now purchased more, and re pierced my 1st and 3rd lobe holes on myself, and 4th holes on my daughter in law.It is admittedly easier to do it on somebody else, as it is hard to see where the point is on your own ear, and to make sure that the stud will go in at 90 degrees to the lobe.I don't think I would use one of these to pierce anything other than a lobe though.
