Easy to attach to the camera. Nice lightweight metal construction and the well rounded grip helps stabilize larger full frame and APS-C DSLR cameras.

I modified this camera handle to use a threaded knob for quick access on and off. I used the slot that was the farthest away from the handle. The slots for the 1/4-20 screw will work, but you have to place all the way at one end and then screw the screw in past the threads. It will then glide along the length of the slot.I filed the full width of the bracket near the 3 1/4-20 threaded (female) sockets. I installed the threaded knob and I can now put the screw in and take off fairly easy.The bracket and the handle are very sturdy holding my camera. It would be great if a 1/4-20 threaded knob were included for an easy way to mount and remove the camera.

I bought this simple side handle to avoid buying an entire camera cage that I personally hate. I'm all for minimalism tools on camera to preserve aesthetics; if that's the case for you too, do not hesitate.
