This is an excellent item! It is massive, it's waterproof and it folds down for easy storage. It comes in it's own little storage bag, and everything you need to attach it to the roof of the car is included - with, or without a roof rack. I particularly like that the zip is covered with a fold down flap to ensure the contents stay dry, and the reflective strip ensures it can be seem by other road users. It is not cheap, but it's much more convenient and easier to use than a hard shell. I am well impressed with this, and do recommend!

First off this is a bag not a box as stated in the advert.The photos in the advert make it look like a solid box - it is not.This is a PU canvas-style bag with straps.You get a rubber-style sheet to place on your car roof - this helps protect your paintwork and stops the bag from slipping over the roof.The straps are fiddly to attach to the car and need to clip into the rubber seal on the inside of your doors - it makes you paranoid it's going to come loose and fall off on the motorway!If you have roof bars then this is much easier to attach.The bag itself is good - quite thick material with a strong zip and a weather flap to stop rain from getting in through the zip.I'm dropping two stars because of the false claim that it is a box and the way it attaches inside your doors if you don't have roof bars.
