The metal actually comes unbent, which I didn't know needed to be bent myself.Not a problem, I just found it a little strange. Suppose it saves on packaging.It's great so far for their food, however I do worry it may be a bit difficult for them to notice the one holding water, as it's crystal clear.They are well made, seem sturdy and have no sharp or serrated edges, as is often the case with form moulded acrylic products.They are slightly different from the picture though.They don't come with a rounded perch edge... They come with just a blunt, sanded and polished edge. It's still nice but I can't imagine it will be as comfortable for my birds as the one in the picture looks. So therefor I am rather disappointed. hence it only having 3 stars.I hate when products don't match the pictures...
