I ordered this rotating bookshelf from the Amazon brand Elpheco. I was a bit dismayed by how plasticky it was when I took it out the box but once set up (it is a quick slot-it-together) it looks quite impressive. It has a nice well balanced turning mechanism so I feel confident the youngsters of the household can use it without issue. I put the heavier books (hardbacks etc) on the bottom and put lighter paperbacks etc on the upper levels. It does need to stand out from the wall (bit frustrating) but all of the titles are accessible, meaning there is no 'dead space' - you can fit a lot on there! It's easy to keep clean as well of jammy fingerprints.The only downside for me really is that we have a lot of books and and row of these wouldn't work - its a standalone item. So we just put some kids' favourite on there and War and Peace and and The Brothers Karamazov are in the other room still on a bookcase called Billy.It is quite expensive I think for what it is at £78.99 but it's quite a cool feature item I suppose - could encourage kids over the play with the shelf, then get them reading!Four stars

This is a lot better than expectedIm using it for my bags which fits perfectly in between the gapsVery sturdy and looks nice in my bedroom

This was exactly what we were looking for. It is very sturdy, despite being on a slightly sloped surface and dealing with an excited toddler it has stayed put and hasn't shown any hints of wobbling/falling. We have left off the top shelf for now, because out toddlers not tall enough to get to it and honestly we don't have enough books for it yet!
