La poubelle est compacte avec un design élégant. Elle est facile à nettoyer (3 parties).Le sans contact est pratique et silencieux même si parfois un peu capricieux.Petit bémols:-6 Piles AA requises, j’ai dû forcer un peu pour les mettre en place.-Les sacs 30L que j’ai tiennent difficilement dans le bac à voir sur les prochains !

Bought to replace a 2014 42ltr Dihl sensor bin. Initially purchased the 45ltr EKO on the assumption it would be a similar capacity, but no the 30ltr is actually more similar (almost identical). Yeah, no idea either.Anyway, the bin itself is everything you'd expect from an expensive bin. Ok, it doesn't do any non-bin tasks like make your coffee, but as an example: the open/close mechanism is extremely quiet, and the sensor holds the lid open very effectively for as long as you remain in its jaws, whilst the Dihl it replaced had a tendency to close whilst you still had a plate (or other item) over the sensor - which eventually caused motor damage due to it closing onto something.The only slight annoyance I have with this bin is the sensor is too good: it sees the worktop (about 30cm above) and opens / stays open. Have to move the bin slightly forward so the sensor itself sees beyond the edge of the worktop. I had the same issue with the (taller) 45ltr model (returned), but at least with this one being a bit smaller (all dimensions) it doesn't look as odd having it protrude forwards a little. YMMV I suppose...Oh, and the touch buttons for manual open/close hold the bin lid open (I wish more listings made that feature clear!).Again, the Dihl it replaced didn't work like that; if you opened it with the button it'd STILL close itself automatically after a few seconds. If you want to make a few trips to the bin and therefore want to hold it open it's useful to have the option to open via the button and know it'll stay open until you command it to close via the close button - that's how the EKO Mirage works. It's a small thing, but these details add up to why it might make sense to spend a seemingly obscene amount of money on something as trivial as a bin.

Bought at start of Covid-19 pandemic to ensure we weren't constantly touching the bin lid. Works brilliantly, batteries still going strong after 3 months of constant use, and best of all, is super hygienic as you literally don't have to touch the bin for it to work. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
