Although the ruler is useable, mine came with a considerable curve, so for a 600mm rule I felt this wasn’t that good. Perhaps someone had returned the rule as it had some marks over it in places!!!

I use this mainly as a straight edge when cutting sheets with my circular saw. It works very well in that capacity, it is made of thick enough steel so the sole plate rides along and not up.The markings are deeply engraved so it is easy to see them when using it to measure things.Well made and a pleasure to use.

Apart from Moore & Wright, this seems like the best option on Amazon.The only snag on mine is the starter edge at 0 is not a clean right-angle. When putting it next to a M&W rule to compare markings, the markings do line up, but not if I put them both against a flat surface, because this one has an uneven start. I'll probably try to grind it flat, but then it'll be a bit short. Still, good enough for most DIY.
