Let me preface by saying that this is the only Cornet mouthpiece you will ever need for the rest of your life. Upon receiving it, I slapped it on my Yamaha student Cornett, and it just made a world of difference. Completely changed the sound. It now sounds like a cornet. That classic British full rounded smooth sound. I also play the trumpet and I have Monette mouthpieces, and this Dennis Wick mouthpiece is my new favorite. I bought it to replace the standard Yamaha mouthpiece for my 12-year-old, who plays in band. He also noticed right away how easy it is to play. Much easier than the Yamaha that came with it because this one has such a deep cup. It just sounds so great and the feel of it is extremely solid. I highly recommend getting one of these if you play cornet. I’m also going to find a trumpet mouthpiece from Wick as soon as possible.Updated: my 12-year-old son has played this thing about 5X as he was before with the terrible Yamaha stock mouthpiece. Thanks to this mouthpiece he sounds amazing. It’s just so much easier to play and it sounds so much better. It makes practicing fun.

Excellent mouthpiece at a good price with fast delivery

Great product althought a bit pricey.

I know it was a bit pricey but it was worth it as my son now gets a better range of notes as he was really struggling before on his smaller mouthpiece. Denis Wick was the one recommended by my sons music teacher, so we obvioulsy followed her recommendation and havent been disappointed.
