D'Addario Select Jazz - Bocchino per sax alto D6, apertura 1,98 mm

Mundstück hat von Jazz nur der Name.Klingt sehr klassisch, was zu erwarten war mit diese Bauweise.

Il suono ottimo, facili il controllo e l’intonatione. Vivamente consigliato.

Llevo varios meses con esta boquilla y me parece excelente. Es muy fácil de tocar en todo el registro y tiene un sonido muy equilibrado que se adapta a diferentes estilos alrededor del jazz. He probado varias boquillas similares (tipo Meyer NY que es en la boquilla que se inspira) y esta es la que más me gusta. De hecho creo que es mejor que la Meyer modelo actual. Nunca he probado una Meyer NY antigua por lo que ahí no puedo comparar. Por último pero también importante se ve muy bien acabada, la tabla y los raíles están perfectos. Una gran boquilla a un precio relativamente asequible. Adecuada para profesionales y para estudiantes medio o avanzados.

Je l'ai tout juste reçu... C'est un bec exceptionnel... Comme disent certains commentaires le plus étonnant c'est le son très homogène sur toutes les octaves.... La facture est parfaite... Et le son vraiment malléable, réactif... J'ai pris le 6M mais je suis maintenant curieux d'essayer le 7

Premetto che non sono un sassofonista esperto, strimpello l'alto da circa due anni. Ho acquistato il bocchino sulla fiducia senza averlo prima provato, basandomi sui diversi giudizi positivi visti su internet. Dopo averlo provato qualche giorno devo dire di essere molto soddisfatto. Rispetto al precedente bocchino che usavo (Meyer vintage) trovo che sia decisamente facile ed immediato da usare, soprattutto molto più intonato su tutta l'estensione. In particolare mi risulta molto facile prendere le note più gravi e quelle più alte dello strumento (es. mi e fa terza ottava con le posizioni alternative). La sonorità secondo me è intermedia nè troppo scura ne troppo brillante, anche se nel mio caso è influenzata dal sax (Yamaha YAS32) che di per sè è già abbastanza brillante. Il volume è più che buono (io uso ance durezza 2 al momento). Ribadisco soprattutto la facilità di modulazione del volume (passare dal suono tipo subtone al suono più pieno) mantenendo un'ottima intonazione senza necessità di agire più di tanto sulla pressione delle labbra.In sintesi ritengo il bocchino molto azzeccato per un suonatore in evoluzione come me, che ha bisogno di arricchire la propria esperienza sonora mantenendo però la facilità e stabilità di emissione.Io ho scelto l'apertura D6 che trovo in realtà abbastanza chiusa, garantendo però comunque una buona sonorità. Per chi ama bocchini più aperti consiglierei sicuramente la D7 o D8.

Finally a company is making a really good mouthpiece for a decent price. I've played saxophone professionally for over forty years-yikes!-and I have recommended this piece to several other professional players that have purchased them and are totally satisfied with them. I have two #7's and a #6; they all play well, but even though they are "cad-cammed" and should play identically, they don't-but they are close. The second #7 I bought plays a wee bit better than the first #7 I bought, but that said, I am totally happy with the first one. I bought the second #7 as an experiment and was rewarded with a very-slightly-better piece.Ironically, sonically (and pneumonically, mnemonically speaking). I like the 6 better, though I usually play a wider tip opening than even the 7; the last few years I've been playing a Meyer NYUSA small chamber that the great Ted Klum refaced to .088", and I just had him make me one of his pieces, also at .088". I'm playing this one now, though, good as the Klums are. A fellow saxophonist that purchased one of these pieces just sold his NYUSA 6M Medium because this plays so well. In addition to this mouthpiece sounding good, it is very easy to control, and the intonation is spot on (for a sax). I'm playing a 78k Mk VI or a 298K Super 20; my buddy is playing a gold plated 6m Conn (tranny, with same side bell keys). Frankly, the D'Addario is MUCH more in tune on his Conn-the Meyer made his pitch spread a bit (high on top, low on bottom). To wrap up, it's a really good mouthpiece-very flexible sonically, great core, excellent intonation, easy to play and control. Many Meyer-like qualities without sounding just like a Meyer. Priced very reasonably by today's standards (I bought my first NYUSA brand new for $20!). Something I can recommend to anyone without hesitation-students included. Now, if they'd just make one for tenor....!
