I think the first thing that needs to be said about these is that the listing is not all that accurate. It's not intentional, rather just language/translation issue but it could be misleading. There are 5 of these straps in the pack. They are made from strong webbing with a "D" ring at each end. The only thing that is metal is the "D" ring and there is no assembly required.They are listed as being straps for a swing and certainly they are ideal for that but they have lots of other potential uses too. The strap is roughly 26.5cm (10.5") long and is made from heavy duty webbing which has been doubled over to give extra strength. There is a loop at each end which hold the "D" rings, which again are heavy duty and seem more than strong enough to support a garden swing or climbing rope.However, I think they also have some DIY-related uses. I have already used two of them, in combination with a ratchet strap, to help secure a ladder in position. They could also support a pulley or even just act as a support for any item in a workshop that needsto be held or hung in a particular position.I am quite impressed by them and at a unit cost of just over £2 I have to say they represent a considerable bargain. They are great for theree described purpose but have so many other potential uses around the home/workshop/garage. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
