Bought this for an almost 2 year old toddler and he is absolutely delighted with it. He likes to march around the living room in circles banging the drum loudly, sometimes with his hand or sometimes with a makeshift drum stick. Be warned that the tambourine part is fairly noisy, so be prepared for a bit of a racket if you're bringing this into your home. But it IS a really great gift! Seems nice and sturdy as well, kiddo has chucked it across the room a few times already.

Our one year old granddaughter loves this. It is a perfect size for her, and of very good quality and sound.
