This is by far my favorite pencil. I came across a lost BIC Atlantis pen from a much less accountable person and used it for a few months because I liked it. When I saw these mechanical pencils I just had to try them. I consider myself to be a pencil aficionado, and I only truly enjoy the best of the best when it comes to pencils. This mechanical pencil checks all my boxes. I use it alongside a black space pen in an EDC mainly for writing down math formulas.- It's lightweight, yet durable- It feels sturdy- It looks great. A huge plus for showing off the internals.- I can take it apart and do makeshift repairs.For some reason, I feel this pencil is better without the eraser cap, but I'm happy to have this option. It never falls out with the cap off in my pocket. The components are well made. It has unscrewed in my pocket a couple times over a few years of heavy activity, but it has never broken. I can take the pencil apart and mess with it a little bit and I don't feel like I'm going to break it. I feel cheap plastic is almost an insulting tool to write with and I hope that more people get to experience what a mechanical pencil should feel like.
