it’s a little heavy but i’m fine with that it is a fantastic mount. Locks easily and the two panorama adjusters make it fantastic for fast level panorama pics. Also the mount feels safe and secure on my small ring L bracket.A great product worth getting.

Let's face it, this is the same thing as the Innorel N52 with a different brand printed on it. Check out David Berryrieser's excellent resource 'thecentrecolumn' and you will find this ball head mixing it up with gear costing many times more.Of course, this head is not as smooth as a high-end RRS or Markins, but it will hold your camera gear solidly. My copy is a little rough to rotate about the axis, but it locks down tight and that's the whole point!As and when I can afford to I will be buying a premium head (most likely a BH-55 or Q20i). That dream ball head will likely cost at least 5x what I paid for this, and I will gain only a bit more stiffness and smoother operation. It has to be said that, really, the photos taken by a camera atop this Artcise head are probably going to be just as sharp as any using a RRS/FLM/Arca Swiss/Markins head!Note that this is a pretty big beast (though not overly heavy for the size I think).

for $90 it can't be faulted. smooth enough to work with, easy to pretension with the main knob, holds very firmly with no play when tight. does the job. shut up and buy it.
