They are not high fire. I used them for cone 6 and they crumbled into piecesOk for low fire.

You get so many of these - a great value for the money! So much easier than bending your own hooks out of wire and gives consistent results that are easy for making hanging ceramic pieces.

I used these in a Cone 6 firing and after the glaze fire the metal piece crumbled. I was planning on making ornaments.

When I saw these and the Nichrome, I thought.. I wonder if......Well, yes you can. They do work in a Pyrography machine. They are a little thick, but if you have a machine that allows you to change the heat setting like mine, then they work a treat.Additionally they are long enough to allow you to alter the shape to suit your requirements, including flattening the end for a spade style. All of this for an amazing price, brilliant!
