Let me just say that this is better than the traditional Zerk fitting grease gun that I’m sure most of us use.This has a “gripper” fitting that will fit onto the Zerk joint and allow you to squeeze the grease in, but it won’t opt off on its own.To take it off you simply press on the thumb switch and the “teeth” open up, and you remove it from the Zerk joint…….the same thing applies when you want to put it on.With normal fittings (in my experience) I have to grip and pull hard to get the grease gun to let go, but this system is so much easier.Double check and make sure that all fittings on the tool are tight, or else you will get grease coming out of the joints like I did.I thought I had tightened them up enough, but apparently not as grease was still seeping out.After I really wrenched down on the joints it seemed to stop, but who knows what will happen over the long run.Still, I found this to be a great addition to my tool box, and should make greasing the tractor (and other things) much quicker and cleaner.

This review evaluates the “12,000 PSI High-Pressure Grease Gun Coupler and Hose” made by YUFANA.First of all, the product was shipped in a flimsy thin plastic hinged box which you will throw into the garbage (or recycling box) the minute you use the product. It is not reusable and quite frankly a waste to our environment. This could easily be put in a plastic bag or small cardboard box. Companies have a responsibility to be better environmental stewards. What’s in the box: one (1) high-pressure grease gun coupler and hose, one (1) starter roll of Teflon thread tape, one small replacement rubber nipple, and user instructions.First impressions: The kit states that it's 12,000 PSI and stamped on the hose it is rated for 10,000 PSI, that’s a 17% difference in pressure rating! Truthfully, 10,000 to 12,000 PSI can kill or severely maim you in a pressure burst situation, and frankly looking at this product, I don’t think I’d subject it to that kind of pressure.I decided to test this kit on my pneumatic grease gun (which is regulated to 110-115 PSI). Unlike other similar coupler kits that I have tested, threading the standard 1/8” NPT fitting to the coupler is difficult at best; the design of the handle interferes with applying a wrench to the fitting and holding the coupler with another wrench or vise. I could only achieve the result by threading a box spanner through the hose and onto the fitting and very gingerly holding the coupler in a vise – even so I had to be careful not to break the coupler handle. The picture in the Amazon ad does not match the coupler that was delivered, the handle is not easily removed and interferes with the assembly of the 1/8 NPT fitting.The success of any grease coupler is the design of the chuck and how it clamps onto grease nipples. Unlike other heavy-duty couplers which use a 6-jawed chuck to encompass a nipple uniformly, these use only 3 jaws making it more prone to become off-center and have non-equal grip. The included hose seems of decent construction with a thick, flexible sheathing and a steel spring bend stress reliever. As mentioned earlier the hose is marked with a 10,000 PSI rating instead of the 12,000 PSI rating in the Amazon ad. The coupler held the standard grease nipples on my Kubota tractor decently without leakage and easily released them as well.I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program so I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. To verify the durability of this product, I am going to monitor this product and its performance over the next 8-12 months of use and revise my review should problems arise.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall the product is satisfactory, but not great. It does the job but is not as good as other similar products that cost less. It does provide an upgrade to your grease gun that increases the ease of maintenance; however, time will tell if it has an acceptable effective service life. At a current price of $25.99 (plus a $3 off coupon), it is priced approximately 30% higher than similar products.In summary: the “12,000 PSI High-Pressure Grease Gun Coupler and Hose” made by YUFANA does the job but its long-term performance is questionable. It is more expensive than better designed, similar products and consequently, I would only recommend this product if it was reduced in price by 30%.Pros 👍:✔ Decent construction and materials.✔ Easy to attach/detach with one-hand operation.✔ Suitable for all DIN/SAE grease nipples and all SAE/metric Zerk joints.✔ Flexible hose with steel spring bend stress reliever.Cons👎:✘ The pressure rating is not 12,000 PSI as claimed in the ad.✘ Difficult to attach onto standard 1/8” NPT fittings.✘ Only uses a 3-jawed chuck instead of a 6-jawed chuck - prone to unequal attachment.✘ Priced about 30% more than better-designed competing products.
