Big fan of sirui products. This clamp is very useful because I can use it to power LED lights from battery which dont already have vmount connections, I can also use it to power my camera by attaching this to a leg of the tripod. Adding heavy batteries to my cinema cams can throw off the balance and make it cumbersome. I have many uses for this and look forward to putting it to work

Well-made heavy-duty light stand or tripod mounting kit.These days many of the smaller but very powerful lights don't have direct V-Mount attachments. In addition, when your camera is tripod bound it makes more sense to mount the battery external. This mount kit is a sturdy way to mount your V-Mount battery to either your light stand or tripod.The wide silicone padded clamp allows you to mount to light stands, c-stands, or tripods with a wide variety of thicknesses. The locking lever allows you to turn and tighten to the degree needed to hold the battery in place. The battery locking pin holds the battery very securely.Also included is an M3 and 1/4 inch lock wedge as well as three different-sized hex wrenches and screws. The wedges and additional mounting options allow you to add not included mounting kits for NP-F battery plates, power banks, or SSD holders making the kit potentially more flexible beyond V-Mount batteries. The wedges allow you to attach these accessories to this kit's V-Mount lock.The sturdy and flexible nature of this kit certainly makes this a value leader in this category.

This is a nice and sturdy clamp. However, you don't realize it until you're using it in the field. But the screw down action takes a little too long. When you need to adjust it when you're on the go I think it'd be better to have a clamp style with A. Squeeze grip

This SIRUI V-mount battery clamp is pretty much perfect. It is very versatile with a wider opening but it's also taller than most mounts in this category making it more stable. You can clamp to the smallest part of a light stand or the widest with no problem. It comes with 2 additional style V-Lock wedges including tools and screws. There are M3 and 1/4" threads for additional accessories as well. This is a rock solid piece and a great mount if you use v-mount batteries.
