Ordered via vine. I only ordered this as it was free and I don't need mine replacing at the moment but it was free so possibly in the future. At £29.99 you might think these are big looking at the images. But at only a few inches in total diameter, this is simply a bit of plastic and a dust filter, which you could buy rolls off. In fact the cost to make this would likely be under £2.Now they may be expensive when bought from the OEMa retailer and perhaps that justifies the price. But if you do need one of these replacements, I promise you it would be far cheaper to keep the plastic section, then simply buy a role of similar dust filter and you can easily attach/apply it to the existing plastic section. And with the roll itself costing maybe £5, you'd have enough spare to DIY replace the filter many, many times. There isn't any special design or attachment here, it is simply a cut out section of dust filter the same size as the plastic mould of the filter. But rather than throw it away or replace the entire thing, I would say simply find the same or similar roll of dust filter and simply cut to size. For this to be more competitively priced vs a simply DIY replacement, it should be under £10. Because the profit margin from this generic brand at £25 is absolutely huge, i'd guess total costs are well under £5 a unit. Although I did test it, it fits perfectly fine but if you have one of these you'll understand, it costs almost nothing for a decent sized role of filter. So i'm not blaming the product too much as Ive no doubt the original part is equally if not more overpriced. But don;t need any DIY skills at all to replace these on your own, when you see that its simply a tiny bit of plastic and dust filter cut to size - no fancy way to install it.But i'll give it a generous 3/5 stars as it does as intended. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if (with competition and demand) you could buy a 10x or 10x pack of these for £25 and the manufacturer would still make a good profit. I cant emphasis how much smaller this is than the image suggests.
