This Jazz Bass Pickup set is a fantastic addition to my setup. I’m installing these into a budget bass I picked up for a fun project—after refreshing the neck and adding some new hardware, these pickups really complete the transformation. They deliver a clean, round tone and the build quality is excellent with top-notch materials. My only minor gripe is that they have a slightly pokey edge that can get in the way when playing by hand, but that’s pretty common with pickups in general. A quick fix with a fine mesh pad or sand sponge smooths it out nicely. They’re also super easy to install—just follow the included wiring diagram. For the price, it’s a total steal, and I’d definitely recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their bass sound.

If you're aiming to boost the sound of your Strat-style electric guitar, consider this staggered Alnico 5 single coil pickups set. The cream-colored set not only looks retro but also significantly improves the tone. The Alnico 5 magnets deliver strong, clear, and warm tones. The staggered design enhances string balance and response, making playing smoother. Installation is straightforward, even for those new to guitar modifications, with clear instructions and no need for specialized tools. However, the height adjustment screws are a bit short, which might be an issue for guitars with a larger gap between the body and strings. I'm using these on an old strat that has some bad pickups. I'm not expecting like Clapton pickups, but it's better than the noisy ones I have on there now.

These pickups are a nice upgrade over the ceramic pickups that came stock in my cheap J bass. They have a lot of clarity and the bottom end is tight and punchy. It's a great price for good pickups if you don't care about having a name brand on the cover.

Well made and definitely captures that vintage tone. Good quality at this price point without having to drop a ton of money into customer boutique pickups. For a budget build or trying to upgrade from stock these are a great choice.
