Easy to install and works great. So much cheaper than buying a new laptop. Battery life is great.

Was super easy to install on my Dell precision 5540. I upgraded from the 3 cell original to this 6 cell battery and wow, what a difference. Battery life was over an 12 hours. Traveled on a trip 3 hours each way plus some light use on site and was still with 30% when I got home. Perfect fit, plugged in easily. The only caveat is if you have a physical hardware, it might not fit. I have an SSD so it wasn't a problem for me. I recommend this battery. Review is 3 months after original install.

Der Einbau des Akkus war aufgrund der exakten Übereinstimmung aller Maßesehr schnell erledigt.Etwas schwierig war lediglich das Entfernen des unteren Gehäusedeckels -er sträubte sich etwas...Natürlich hab ich mir vorher 2 Videos auf YouTube angesehen was zur Orientierunghilfreich war.Mit dem Akku sind zwei gute genau passende kleine Schraubenzieher mitgeliefert -in jeder Hinsicht ein perfektes Austauschteil !Nach Tausch - Anzeige 90% Erfahrungen dazu später.

I have an older Dell XPS 13 9350 and the battery had bloated to the point where it made my trackpad unusable. I ordered this as a replacement. When I opened up the computer, the battery was indeed bloated. I removed it, replaced it with this one, and closed everything back up. It came with about a 65% charge on it, but I plugged it in and got to 100% in a little less than an hour. So it charged fine. Then I unplugged it and left it overnight to see if it would hold the charge. The next morning it was at 100% so that box was checked too.I had a presentation the next morning so I ran it completely on battery. It was an hour of PowerPoints, connected to an external monitor via HDMI. When I finished the presentation after about and hour and 15 minutes, the battery was still at 82%. No complaints there as my original battery was down to about 30 minutes run time. I don't know how long this battery will last (runtime), as I haven't tried draining it yet.Some installation notes: This comes with everything you need: Two screwdrivers and a plastic pick. If you have an older XPS 13 like mine, don't forget the screw that in the center of the cover, under the square lid. That screw is longer than the rest, too, so it's the only one that length. I made sure to put all of the screws in a bowl, as they are very tiny. The battery itself is easy to remove and replace, once you are inside. There are several videos on how to do that. Just be careful when disconnecting the plug and make to use the plastic wedge and not a metal screwdriver. These are fragile parts, so don't put too much pressure on anything. In all, it took me about 30 minutes to replace the battery.Overall, an excellent kit to give extra life to your old laptop.
